Position Description:
We are seeking a generalist Associate Research Analyst to join our Contrarian Value group focused on a value-oriented, contrarian, and long-term horizon investment strategy. The position will support the investment process through short-term project work focused on fundamental bottom-up research analysis across capital structure, geographies, sectors and market caps. Candidates will be expected to fill the position for two years, and will learn the foundational skills required to become an equity analyst in the asset management industry. The successful research analyst will be well rounded, a quick study, self-starting, numerate, with strong critical reasoning and intellectual curiosity to support and validate investment theses by conducting due diligence and collecting distinctive information.
Position requirements:
Candidates must submit their resume, cover letter, and two writing samples. Please note that as part of the screening process, candidates will be asked to complete tests of writing skills, accounting knowledge, and critical reasoning.
