Position Summary:

Silver Creek is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst who will support the Hedge Fund and Private Credit teams.  The Junior Investment Analyst will work closely with the investment team to assist in all areas of the investment due diligence process including selecting, analyzing, and monitoring investment managers for Silver Creek’s investment portfolios.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating and documenting calls and meetings with prospective and existing managers
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of funds, strategies, asset classes, and portfolios
  • Performing research and completing other special projects
  • Assisting in producing reports, recommendations, and presentations for the CIO and Investment Committee
  • Driving improvements and efficiencies in data processes and management
  • Working toward obtaining the CFA and/or CAIA designation

In time, the Junior Investment Analyst is encouraged to form independent views on investments, managers, and markets.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest and knowledge of finance and passion for investing
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and willingness to perform a wide range of tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, resourcefulness, multi-tasking, and working independently
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • B.A. or B.S. with significant coursework in finance, economics, or related fields preferred

Additional Information:

The position will be in Seattle and may include some travel.
