The Team

The Global Client Group (GCG) is responsible for the business development and relationship management function of Dimensional. Our goal is to develop deep and enduring relationships and to deliver outstanding investment outcomes and client service. Our clients and prospective clients include complex global institutional clients, national financial services businesses as well as financial advice practices. This position sits within Institutional channel and leverages a detailed level of Dimensional-specific investment and servicing expertise to connect with superannuation funds, government and sovereign wealth funds, insurance funds, family offices, charities, endowments and asset consultants.

The Role

As a Client Service Analyst, you will work closely with senior business development staff to retain existing clients and to drive business growth. You will provide proactive support to enhance client relationship management and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Dimensional investment philosophy and the academic theory that underpins it and be able to communicate it effectively
• Develop expertise of the Dimensionals investment strategies and the tools and resources that support them
• Support the Regional Director and Senior Associate in responding to client and prospect investment queries
• Perform portfolio related analysis and create presentations to support sales and client support efforts
• Work closely with other areas of Dimensional including Marketing Services, Portfolio Management and Portfolio Analytics as part of projects and initiatives for GCG team or to address complex client queries
• Identify and develop processes or methodologies that improve service to clients
• Maintain and develop presentation material for existing and new client needs

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Degree qualified and strong academic results. Progression towards or completion of CFA and/or Masters is ideal
• At least two years experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry within a client service, relationship management or investment analysis capacity
• Proactive desire to learn and a keen interest in financial markets
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
• Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Strong computer skills (Excel) with the ability to learn programs as needed
