The Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) team looks to consistently deliver the strategic goals of the organisations objectives and promote our investment capability in the market. The team members are required to act as a spokesperson/ambassador for a number of the asset classes and are also a primary source of client and marketplace intelligence. The TSS team is a key contributor to the achievement of ratings, sales targets and business opportunities. Due to the expansion of our business we are now seeking to add to our team in London by appointing a Senior Associate, Technical Sales Specialists.

This role is primarily focused on global fund-raising efforts for the Global Listed Infrastructure capability which manages assets globally across retail and institutional investors and also servicing the current client base. The position will work closely with investment and sales teams to assist with the development and execution of distribution strategies. The successful candidate will have strong investment knowledge of listed infrastructure and general knowledge across real estate, equity and fixed income.

Main focus areas:
  • As an integral member of the team you will monitor, analyse and maintain listed infrastructure industry and market information, providing analysis on target investors.
  • Play an investor relations role during the fund raising to ensure quick turnaround of investor queries.
  • Work closely with investment teams and regional sales teams to successfully execute capital and fund raising programmes.
  • Undertake research assignments to uncover market size and opportunity set
  • Work with senior management to develop and execute their regional distribution strategies.
  • Work with investment teams to develop and execute their fund raising distribution strategy
  • Assist with RFPs, preparing marketing materials and presentations for clients and consultants and any ad hoc projects.
  • Work with investment and communications teams to contribute to regular client reporting.
  • Coordinating internally to gather needed information to support prospective investor responses. Investor requests may include: due diligence questions and general questions about the firm.
  • Providing sales support to regional sales team.


Capabilities required:
  • A passion for investments and markets, in particular the infrastructure asset class
  • A strategic and creative thinker, able to generate ideas and concepts
  • General knowledge of institutional products and investor types, the ability to articulate the advantages/opportunities associated with different investments to prospective clients and the ability to manage sales cycles.
  • A successful Project Manager with the ability to collaborate with senior staff, demonstrate an understanding of how to deal with complex problem analysis and resolution, handling multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously to deadline
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple regions when required.
  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation.
  • Advanced MS office skill - Excel/ Word / PowerPoint.
  • Bloomberg / Factset literate and solid VBA coding capabilities.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree qualified in a related discipline
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+years in funds management, investment banking or management consulting and at least 3+ years in dedicated listed infrastructure
  • Experience working for an Infrastructure investment management company or management consulting firm
  • CFA Charter holder/candidate (at least passed level 1)
  • Japanese language skills (at least passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 level)
  • Chinese language skills preferred
  • Capability to articulate and communicate the company's strategic directions and businesses.
