International Equity Trader

About the International Equity Trader Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for executing equity trades and providing trading strategies to the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide "best execution" across a range of international developed and emerging markets equity products, including cash, futures, and swap instruments for all of company's internal products
• Manage orders and trade flow in a logical risk controlled manner with a high sensitivity to fiduciary responsibilities
• Support investment teams by providing market intelligence and insight, technical inputs, macro strategy, trade ideas, data requests
• Proactively contribute to the investment process to both reduce transaction costs and identify alpha opportunities in the international developed/EM asset classes
• Fully integrate into the portfolio construction process, working with all product teams involved or potentially involved in international developed/EM
• Leverage deep and well-established relationships with broker dealers and related parties

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years of trading experience
• At least seven years of industry experience
• Bachelor's degree with CFA or MBA preferred
• Complete understanding of equity buy-side investment process
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in single stock, futures, swaps, programme trading preferred
