Senior Technology Sales Support/ Pre-sales Consultant Role A&NZ - (Sydney Based)

This senior pre-sales is part of the APAC sales support team, responsible to address the functional needs and requirements of Banking/FSI clients for a Global FinTech firm solutions. The incumbent will work closely with the Sales team and other Pre-Sales members, where he/she will provide domain expertise, product knowledge, and industry experience to deliver a tailored sales experience to the company's customer.

You will be involved in activities such as:

• Manage/direct communication with current and prospective clients, collaborate with the sales executives to gain an in-depth understanding of customers' requirements, analyze these requirements and provide the solution with the best fit
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations and workshops to clients
• Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) by applying solution functionalities using client's sample data
• Prepare proposals and answer questions and requirements found in Request for Information/ Proposal (RFI/RFP) documents
• Configure and maintain demo environments by ensuring the latest product features and functionalities are available and in good working condition
• Provide financial and business content and subject expertise
• Participate in roadshows, industry events, conferences and seminars
• Provide feedback to product management on customers' needs and contribute to prototyping products

You will possess:

• At least 7-15 years of Pre-Sales / Sales Support experience in the financial technology industry
• Domain knowledge and expertise in Risk & Compliance, Regulatory reporting; ALM, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, FTP, Credit Risk, Basel II/III, IFRS 9, Accounting solutions
• Hands-on experience in working with a programming language such as Java, R, Python and setting up software tools for financial process automation
• MBA, Risk or Finance certification (such as FRM, CFA) or post-graduate in Finance, Banking or Risk Management
• Hands-on experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, others)
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent client-facing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage with and present to C-level management with ease and confidence
• Willingness to travel within the Pacific region
