Asia Sales & Trading Analyst (2020 Campus)

Responsibilities:
The Rotational Analysts are fully integrated into the assigned desk. Responsibilities include, performing a variety of analytical and administrative assignments, working on relevant projects, and taking on daily tasks critical to the desk. These assignments will vary from day to day and may include developing presentation materials using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, programming, fielding client phone inquiries and providing other client contact support as necessary.

Qualifications:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work well in a team based environment. They must possess:

• A university graduate, with specialization in Finance or Economics
• Completion of any CFA levels considered an asset
• Strong academic record
• Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of financial markets
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
o Knowledge and familiarity with data manipulation / Excel skills including VBA are an asset
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
• Prior experience in Global Marketsis an asset
• Knowledge/prior experience using Bloomberg considered an asset
• Excellent research and analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to attentively review, assess and provide detailed information daily on multiple projects in an organized manner
• Excellent capacity to independently function as part of a team through self -motivation
• Strong analytical, relationship building and communication skills
• A high level of integrity, strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail and ability to manage time well
• Must be authorized to work in China and not require sponsorship
