Investment Internship

Position/Duties

We are seeking qualified candidates for an Investment Internship position.  This position would offer broad industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.  We are seeking candidates with an interest in Fixed Income Asset Management to work in our Redmond, WA office.  This is a summer internship position which would run from June through August.

Responsibilities

• Develop business, financial and analytical skills needed for career in fixed income asset management and financial services
• Work across the organization with credit research analysts, traders, portfolio managers, accountants, and actuaries to develop competency across business units
• Bring a new perspective to help improve existing work flows across the organization through automation and data analysis
• Coordinate, research, and present various projects for the credit research, trading, portfolio management, accounting, and actuarial modelling teams

Skills

• Driven, self-motivated, and self-directed, effectively manage and coordinate multiple projects and tasks 

• Strong interest in, and desire to learn about, the fixed income markets

• A team player with a positive attitude, and a collaborative work style
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and communicate findings in a clear and logical manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications/Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related technical field

• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to respond negatively to a Disciplinary History Questionnaire as required by securities regulations

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Hours: 30-40 hours a week, with a 6:00AM PST start time
