Job Description
  • Provide business\\system analysis on requirements covering credit risk or asset liability management and translate these into requirement specifications in conjunction with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Work with software engineering team to assist in the prioritisation of use cases, documentation, test cases and creation of functional specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between the engineering, program management and research teams to facilitate understanding of the design requirements.
  • Ensure that new features are implemented according to specification and problems are corrected.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and validation of new and existing features.
  • Support training activities on the technical and analytical aspects of the product.
  • Demonstrate the key features and values of products to clients.
  • Assist with support calls that involve product management issues.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science with master degree in Economics, Finance or a related field preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial products and instruments, working towards formal qualifications like CFA, FRM etc is a plus.
  • Prior experience of system/business analysis is required.
  • A detail-oriented and active team member of development projects with experience of having written specifications and worked directly with engineering teams to discuss.
  • Experience of working with large datasets using SQL and a scripting language such as R or Python is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate and assist various teams in resolving complex analytical issues.
  • Ability to think logically and analytically, while working independently to complete items.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
