Company Description

Our client, a well-established insurance company, is seeking an Investment Manager for their HK Investment Team. Reporting to the head of investment, the successful candidate will participate in investment process / decision and regular reporting process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head of investments in strategic asset allocation activities and all other aspects of investments, including credit and equity research for in-house portfolios, portfolio reporting, and external managers monitoring
  • Provide support in managing investment risks to order to ensure sufficient liquidity maintained
  • Monitor financial markets and present market updates
  • Coordinate and provide information to Financial Control Department of investment reporting
  • Produce summary of monthly portfolio updates in compliant with investment guidelines
  • Participate in the development and implementation of investment related policies and guidelines from the group with the consideration of regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • University graduate with major in Finance / Economics or related discipline. CFA holder / FRM / Master degree holder is highly regarded
  • At least 5 years of relevant investment experience preferably in life insurance industry. Strong knowledge on fixed income investment is required
  • Strong VBA / Excel skills
  • Strong communications and presentations skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
