Our client is an International Corporate and Institutional Bank that's creating it's entire Risk Management Operation in Lisbon.

Within RISK, this team is in charge of serving the Senior Management of the Bank, entities and Regulators (ECB, ACPR,…) with a wide offer of value-added analyses on operational risk, meant to monitor and alert on the evolution of the operational risk profile.

The objectives of the Operational Risk Control & Analysis & Reporting (ORCAR) are:

  • Produce reports and analyze the operational risk profile at Group level, Pole level, Business Lines level and Regional level
  • Produce and contribute to the regulatory requests: QIS, COREP, ICAAP
  • Develop an efficient, consistent and agile analysis framework for operational risk, considering new innovative technology

 

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Managing the team in Lisbon: Recruitment, Talent identification, Permanent control activities…
  • Producing operational risk reports and analysis at Group level, Business lines an Regional level
    • Analysing quarterly the Historical incidents
    • Analyzing the operational risk indicators, based on different dimensions
    • Monitoring internal audit and regulatory  recommendations
  • Producing and contributing to the ad-hoc regulatory requests (e.g. QIS,…)
  • Taking part in the data quality actions through the analysis of the data and reportings
  • Ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are well applied in conformity with team’s mandate

 

PROFILE

  • Solid managerial experience in consulting firm, transversal department of an international company
  • High knowledge on operational risk / permanent control
  • Knowledge of BI tools and/or SAS environment (appreciated)
  • Skills to manipulate data in excel file
  • Fluent in English, French appreciated
  • Master level
