We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Enterprise Investment Management Analyst.

Principal responsibilities
  • Sales Management and Enterprise Risk Management
  • Perform enterprise risk management monitoring to help produce insights and analytics for the business, and suggest remediation actions and or new sales opportunities
  • Accountable for monitoring client portfolios and products to ensure they are being managed within agreed client tolerances and objectives
  • Responsible for running stress tests and other risk analytics with the aim to support the Advisory Platform users with portfolio analytics and to provide key business Management Information to management for key decision making purposes
  • Conduct bottom up portfolio analysis for idea generation to implement investment philosophy and strategy as well as collaborating with Product Heads and Specialists on fulfilment ideas for themes and Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation implementation
  • Use historical sales data to better understand the success of sales campaigns, assess front line sales performance, and provide feedback to product specialists on their high conviction ideas
  • Perform bottom up portfolio analysis for idea generation to implement investment philosophy and strategy
  • Advisory Platform and Platform Management
  • Maintain the process of local fulfillment lists in platform
  • Maintain the data process of discretionary models and reference portfolios
  • Liaise with the Structured Product specialist to set up new and proposed Structured Products in a timely manner to allow Investment Counselors to solicit
  • Liaise with local and global Alternatives team to ensure new deals are set up properly and data template is up to date
  • Ensure risk parameters and controls defined in the platform are maintained and updated
  • Act as liaison between Investment Counsellor and Relationship Managers, Information Technology and vendor when resolving asset issues regarding asset classification, risk calculations, and new product creation
  • Act as liaison between Investment Counsellor and Relationship Managers, Information Technology and vendor when resolving account and or sub account issues
  • Drive implementation of enhancements to the vendor system in Asia
  • Become portfolio construction and system subject matter expert to help Investment Counsellors with preparing investment proposals and portfolio reviews
  • Build effective working relationships with analysis and design teams, external partners, and front office personnel
  • Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, process efficiency, quality or the way teams and individuals work together


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in numerical, statistical, financial subjects
  • Substantial amount of years of relevant work experience in wealth management
  • Excellent understanding of investment risk and practical experience of risk and or other analytical systems
  • Proven experience working with data and analytics
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Ability to think and plan as part of a Global team and takes personal accountability
  • Collegiate with a solutions focused attitude and has a natural ability to navigate around challenges
  • Basic understanding of statistics, modern portfolio theory, and main asset classes such as bonds, equities, alternative investments, for Private Banking. Ideally has started the Chartered Financial Analyst, for example passed level I
