Position Description:

Over the past 24+ months, PIMCO has undergone significant change in the realm of digital readiness. As part of a global digital transformation initiative spearheaded by Technology and Marketing, PIMCO has built the stage to enable personalized client centric experiences.

The growing Digital Marketing team at PIMCO is seeking a talented Vice President, Digital Growth Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and implement cross/up-sell marketing programs to support digital sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the EVP, Global Head of Digital Marketing, the incumbent will lead global coordinate / work with the global team to coordinate efforts to expand growth marketing strategies across markets, collaborating with colleagues across multiple teams and departments. In addition, the Vice President, Digital Growth Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to the business requirements and overall vision for a new distributing marketing platform in scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Creating scale and capacity to digitally cover more clients by building authentic interactions and qualified leads/handoffs
  • Working closely with channel marketing managers to frame campaigns that help achieve engagement/business goals across growth channels and moving clients up/down segments in a way that compliments regional sales coverage models
  • Being relentless in the pursuit of campaign testing, analyzing results, and recommending solutions that optimizes and improves growth channels
  • Partnering with marketing analytics and insights team to develop PIMCO's Lifetime Customer Value Models (LTCV) to improve client segmentation, campaign targeting, and cross-sell capabilities
  • Building programs intended to maximize a client's LTCV and seeking to identify what is the best engagement model for each client that gives the firm the best chance to maximize LTCV relative to resources available
  • Critical to this role will be ensuring that existing and new programs that are established have scalability and that the approach, technology, and framework has replicability in other markets
  • Being a quick study of digital sales strategies in flight; be fearlessly creative in pursuit of scaling efforts previously identified as global priorities
  • Strong data acumen; be a connoisseur of PIMCO's data set and utilize 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data across all touchpoints
  • Embracing a player/coach approach to managing a small team, while maintaining a focus on broader team and departmental goals and initiatives


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing or related field
  • Experience within the financial services industry; strong command of wealth management/institutional businesses
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in creating and managing high performing teams
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and email programs a plus
  • FINRA licensed or willingness to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date
  • Experience creating site maps, wireframes, and customer journeys
  • KPI/data driven with experience analyzing and reporting user data from providers such as Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated expertise building multi-year roadmaps and driving day-to-day execution
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large scale marketing technology initiatives across product, technology, and data teams
  • Experience working with global teams in different time zones
