Position Description:

The Marketing Technology Platform Engineering Lead will focus on crafting and developing solutions within the Sales & Marketing technology organization. As an engineering lead, this person will be expected to be responsible for the development, collaborate with the business and own the full software development life-cycle from requirements through analysis, design and implementation within agile teams.
The role requires demonstrable understanding of Marketing Technology landscape, standard methodology, implementation, integration and interface development. You will be a "hands on" lead that will provide senior level technical and management direction on enterprise level Marketing Technology applications and projects across technology teams and vendor partners. Good social and interpersonal skills plus a validated ability to work well with both technology and business colleagues; including the ability to thoughtfully present to senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
  • You will craft application design using one Agile Modelling Techniques
  • Knowledge and expertise in defining, designing and converting business data into logical and physical data design.
  • You will define technical use cases from Functional requirements or business features.
  • You are able to allocate resource and effort among available team.
  • You will work in collaboration with business team to understand the engineering scope of the program/ project.


Position Requirements:

  • You have a minimum of ten (10) years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a lead role.
  • You have 5+ years of meaningful experience in Marketing Business domain. Expertise in crafting and transforming a Marketing business process via Technology.
  • You have validated background in development & technical implementation of marketing automation platforms. Experience with Marketo preferred. Alternatively experience with ExactTarget, HubSpot or Eloqua desired.
  • You are coming from depth of experience with Lead Generation, Campaign Management, Web & Social Media analytics, Events, Marketing / Sales integration, CRM, etc.
  • You have experience with diverse Sales & Marketing data platforms, including but not limited to both structured and unstructured databases (includes - Oracle/ SQL Server/ Mongo)
  • You grew up as a developer and have success using SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum
  • You are successful collaborating closely with a business team and translate business requirements/outcomes into technical design. Lead delivery & business expectations via strong Product Management skills.
