POSITION SUMMARY/OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary function of this role is to manage the client reporting requirements for an Advisor team managing the investments of a range of clients, many of whom are charitable and Not For Profit organisations.

There is flexibility of days and hours for the right candidate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The role will involve:

• Analysing data across of multi-asset portfolios

• Preparing regular and ad hoc performance and attribution reports for the advisors ahead of their presentations to clients, or on a regular scheduled basis directly to clients

• Reviewing the portfolios against each clients policy to ensure they are within the investment guidelines

• Designing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and performance of the reporting requirement

• Liaising with internal and external vendors for all issues around the reporting function

• Maintain data integrity and analyse data from a variety of sources including Bloomberg, model portfolios and other databases, leveraging skills in finance and economics

• Respond in a timely manner to requests for data and information from internal and external clients

• Assisting in the design and preparation of marketing and other materials

• Ad-hoc projects as requested by the team

• Comply with the ethical standards contained within the Company Code of Conduct.

• Adhere to Company policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements


Qualifications:


KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong analytical / financial skills, suitably degree qualified

• Experience in analysis and performance measurement and across multiple asset classes,

• The Certificate in Investment Performance Management (CIPM) from the CFA Institute would be well regarded.

• including direct equities, direct fixed income and managed funds;

• Strong understanding of various methodologies used to calculate investment performance;

• Experience in funds management, wealth management custody or fund administration

• Advanced Excel skills and other MS Office suite

• Knowledge and experience with Bloomberg

• Good written communication skills

• Quick learner with structured mind-set and accountability

• Attention to detail and an ability to interpret data

• Proactive and hard-working with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks

• Goal-oriented with demonstrated drive and initiative

• Experience within wealth management or financial planning highly desirable
