Job Summary / Job Purpose


The subject role is required to implement regulatory reporting process within branch and China level to ensure the reporting's accuracy and efficiency. Participate NPC (new product committee) meeting and study account schema and analyse the impact on finance department.

Mission

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

  • Work as a team member on end to end production process, including:
- Financial and accounting data production and quality control.
- Reporting production/review/submission, based on regulatory or internal timeline, to secure timely delivery of relevant reports with good quality.
  • Regular review and challenge current process to ensure continuous enhancement in light of regulatory/internal/organization environment change.
  • Proactively work with internal and external stakeholders, provide swift and accurate feedback to stakeholders, e.g., business line, senior management, regulator.
  • On top of daily production work, support manager's contribution to NPC(new product committee), contributing to accounting treatment and downstream impact analysis, e.g., reporting, control etc


Profile

Academic Background (degree and major)

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance/Accounting


Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how

  • 5-8 years of experience in foreign banks or CPA firms
  • Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and CAS
  • Solid banking product and accounting knowledge
  • Experience in team management is a plus

Language Skills

  • Good command in both speaking and written English.

  • Familiar with Excel. In depth knowledge in Macro and data analysis desirable.
Professional Qualification (if applicable)

  • CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred
