Responsibilities:
- Formulate, prepare and implement risk management policies, frameworks and procedures
- Develop and implement risk assessment program to manage and monitor key business and operational risk, prepare reports for review
- Perform ad hoc risk management projects, proactively participate in strategic projects
- Conduct performance measurement, attribution analysis, risk assessment and portfolio analytics
- Perform analysis on investment, including market risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, VaR, and stress testing, etc.
- Set compliance rules in Bloomberg's trading system (AIM) for pre-trade and post-trade compliance checking
- Oversee all data and systems for risk management
- Perform ad hoc quantitative tasks as required
- Degree or above with major in Finance, Risk Management or related discipline, preferably with qualification in CPA and/or CFA
- At least 3 years relevant experience, preferably in asset management or banking industry
- Sound knowledge in the financial market and investment risk management
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and computer skills
- Good understanding and knowledge of operational risk and internal control principles and ability to assess risk trends
- Preferably with solid operational risk management experience in Asset Management business environment
- Good communication skills and able to work under pressure
- Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Proficient in computer skills (e.g. SQL, VBA) and experience in using Bloomberg and FactSet
