Product Manager Investment Funds

Your role
The Product Manager, Investment Fund role forms an intrinsic part of UBS AM and its interaction with our European product team. It encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that will have an impact both externally in the market and internally on the business.

The key responsibilities will include:

Stay abreast of all changes that are being proposed for our international fund ranges (both Luxembourg and Ireland) focusing in particular products that are registered or authorized in the HK, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan markets
Provide timely feedback on local requirements for implementation of those changes and clearly communicate it to the Product Management team in Europe
Assist product managers in ensuring that proposed product changes are accurately reflected in fund documentation and communicated internally to relevant stakeholders
Capable of managing smaller scale product management projects, e.g. fund closure and merger, etc. and work closely with the product managers in Europe to ensure seamless implementation
Work closely with external counsels and registration desk on fund registration in Hong Kong and Singapore, providing support to Taiwan and Japan where necessary
Assist product managers in maintaining existing products sponsored by Asia Pacific; maintain communication with investments and distribution to ensure the continued viability of the products and to monitor the need for adjustments in current strategies particularly paying attention to local regulatory changes

Your expertise
Minimum 5 years experience in Finance industry preferably working for an asset management company
Good knowledge of the general legal and regulatory framework for Luxembourg, Ireland and Cayman fund vehicles especially in HK, Singapore, Taiwan, China or other Asian countries
Someone with a passion to learn new things and a positive attitude to interact with people of different functions and seniorities.
Some knowledge of investment capabilities including equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative products
Communication and Influencing Skills - Someone who can clearly communicate thoughts and ideas and does not shy away from making good suggestions to senior colleagues
CFA candidates a plus
Excellent proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese a plus
