Credit Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental credit research analysis on issuers within the Chinese onshore and offshore credit universe.

• Produce research reports, develop tools and enhance the credit process to facilitate the effectiveness of decision making capabilities.

• Collaborate with credit analysts in other teams to formulating credit strategies and trading ideas.

• Assist on portfolio management duties and preparation of marketing material for the Chinese debt capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the Chinese onshore and offshore corporate bond markets (both investment-grade and non-investment grade areas)

• Extensive experience in covering Chinese investment grade and non-investment grade credit issuers.

• At least 8 years of dedicated Credit research experience in covering Chinese HY and IG corporate issuers

• University degree graduate, Charter Holder of CFA is a plus. 

• Strong Financial accounting skills and experience with Excel spreadsheets and models

• Thorough analytical style and logical

• Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
