Executive Director/CEO

Reporting to the board of directors the Executive Director (CEO) holds responsibility for the overall active management and direction of the programs, activities, business operations, and other affairs of NASP. NASP is a complex institution with an impressive range of activities, requirements, and perspectives. We seek an Executive Director who oversees this enterprise and serves as the voice for the organization’s aims and missions.

• Ensure the financial sustainability
• Partner with Sponsors, Board Members, and Staff

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BA/BS required
• 10+ years leadership experience in finance preferred
• Experience in a variety of settings including corporations, non-profits and government agencies
• Commitment to the mission
• Visionary, strategic and inclusive leader
• Collaborative builder who can bring constituencies to actionable consensus around bold choices for the next decade and execute large and ambitious plans with fiscal responsibility
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with many constituencies
• Track record of prudent risk-taking and innovation
• Skills, passion and personality to fund raise
• Attract and retain outstanding staff
