Private Equity Analyst

Alta Overview:

Alta currently has ~350M USD of assets under management, including investments in twelve companies across a wide arrange of sectors (e.g., Quick Service Restaurants: Little Caesars, Healthcare: Amerimed, Hospitality: Extended Suites).
Our strategy is to focus in industries/companies benefiting from positive tailwinds such as rising domestic consumption of goods and services and attractive demographics, and then focus on value creation initiatives alongside management teams – We are a hands-on firm.
The team at Alta is comprised of a multi-cultural group of high-achieving professionals with extensive experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking and consulting.

Alta Growth Capital is currently seeking a private equity analyst to join its investment team. The
prospective candidate will have to perform the following activities:

• Conduct research of various industries and companies.
• Screen and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Participate in all phases of the investment process, including investment thesis development, financial modelling, memorandum presentations, due diligence, negotiations and closing.
• Lead value creation efforts at portfolio companies.
• Manage relationships with investment professionals and company executives of all levels

Candidate profile:

• Capable of performing insightful and reliable financial analyses.
• Demonstrate analytical prowess, team work mentality and proactive attitude.
• Last-semester or recently graduated candidate with background in quantitative fields such as finance, economics or engineering and a strong academic record.
• Strong fluency in Spanish and English (both verbal and written).
• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
