Role purpose:

Provide coding / programming and quantitative support to the Risk Policy Team to champion change to risk management methodology at strategic and operational level;

Assist to design and review processes and tools for risk management.

Work as a team to drive the development of risk policies and frameworks on new products, services, collateral, clearing infrastructure and capital to meet evolving market needs.

Help develop and continually enhance margin methodologies, stress testing, funding structures, liquidity and capital for efficiencies and robustness.

 

Team Deliverables:

Establish risk management policies

Ensure the adequacy of financial protection for the firm

Benchmark risk practices to new regulatory developments and practices

Maintain good relationships with regulator to obtain support and approval of new risk framework

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field of study

Masters, CQF, FRM or CFA a plus

2+ years of quantitative experience, ideally in an analytics, market risk analysis, credit risk analysis or model development / model validation role.

Will consider talented graduates without full-time work experience if can demonstrate excellent python coding and risk knowledge from internships or similar.

R or Python programming / data analysis essential

SAS, Matlab, Stata, SQL, VBA, C++, C# ideal
