About the team and role

 

You’ll be working closely with the CEO, the wider business leadership team and our investors as we plan to double headcount by the end of the year and continue to scale over the upcoming years.

 

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of our business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

 

  • Driving the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks

     

    Establishing and monitor company KPIs

     

    Budget setting with long term vision

     

    Retaining constant awareness of the company’s financial position to adjust business plan accordingly

     

    Cash flow planning

     

    Setting up and overseeing our company’s finance IT system

     

    Developing our investment strategy and work alongside CEO to manage relationships with investors

     

    Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

     

    Partnering with business leadership, acting as an adviser and challenger to ensure business goals, resources and processes are appropriate and delivered

     

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a director of finance or similar role in a startup

     

    Proficient English

     

    Experience working in an international environment with different profit and cost centers in different markets

     

    Experience with international VAT rules

     

    Experience with venture capital fundraising process

     

    In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

     

    Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

     

    Startup experience with a “roll up your sleeves, put your ego aside” approach
