Job Details

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is dedicated to building a brighter future for all children, families and communities in the United States. The Casey Foundation not only aims to be a place that does great work — but also a great place to work.

At Casey, you will find a dynamic environment with staff of diverse backgrounds and perspectives who share a deep commitment to advancing the Foundation’s mission.

The Foundation is looking for an early-career investment professional who seeks to gain broader experience as part of the team responsible for managing Casey’s endowment assets. As an investment analyst, you will:

  • support a meaningful cause;
  • build expertise working with Casey’s global diversified portfolio and world-class investment managers;
  • be part of a small team that encourages independent thinking, open dialogue, professional development and intellectual rigor;
  • produce meaningful analysis and contribute to the team’s decision-making process; and
  • work hard while also enjoying a flexible work environment that’s fully engaged with the capital markets.

The ideal candidate will have two years of professional experience or will be a new graduate with substantial internship experience. This person should also be a self-starter with strong analytical skills who can work independently, learn on the job and digest and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information to evaluate investments.

Casey is committed to helping staff learn and grow, enabling them to bring their best selves to work by offering a range of professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement, conferences and training to further develop their skills and expertise. The Foundation also provides a generous benefits package.

This is a two-year position with an opportunity for a renewable term.

Please submit your resume and a cover letter describing how you fit the qualifications above — and why working for the Foundation as an investment analyst interests you. The Foundation will not consider resumes submitted without a cover letter.

Company

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is dedicated to building a brighter future for millions of children and young people by improving educational, economic, social and health outcomes. The Foundation’s work focuses on strengthening families, building stronger communities and ensuring access to opportunity because children and young people need all three to succeed. Casey advances research and solutions to overcome barriers to success, help communities demonstrate what works and influence decision-makers to invest in strategies based on solid evidence.  As a private philanthropy based in Baltimore and working across the country, we make grants that help federal agencies, states, counties, cities and neighborhoods create more innovative, cost-effective responses to the issues that negatively affect children: poverty, unnecessary disconnection from family and communities with limited access to opportunity. Since 1948, these efforts have translated into more informed policies and practices and yielded positive results for larger numbers of kids and families.
